Please inform yourself independently in the study and examination regulations of your Bachelor’s or Master’s program as well as on the pages of the Examination Office (ZPA) about the required examination achievements, the examination process, and the deadlines for registration and deregistration.
You can find an important overview of all current university examinations in this examination plan document, which is frequently updated. Please check it shortly before the examination period.

Exam Reviews
You can request an examination review after the examination and grade notification. The appointments are centrally assigned in an OPAL course. Please check whether there are currently available appointments for completed exams in the current semester. Please register accordingly.
The secretariat jennifer.hofmann@… is available for any questions.
If you wish to request a change, you may submit this form during the exam review on-site.
Preliminary Examination Requirements (PVL)
At the professorship, a PVL(Prüfungsvorleistung) is conducted only in the course "Datenbanken Grundlagen" as specified in the study regulations. This PVL is mandatory if it is stated in your study regulations and must be completed before taking the exam. In SBService, you can check whether a prerequisite exists for you or not.
If you have passed the PVL with at least 50% of the achievable points, you do not need to complete it again for subsequent attempts.
The PVL is always centrally released in OPAL and has approximately five weeks of processing time, with the tasks taking about two hours to complete.
The submission format is always defined in the current PVL. Generally, the PVL must be sent by email to a staff member of the professorship by the submission date. The subject line should always include "PVL DBG WSXX/XX YourStudentID, and the PVL should be attached as a PDF file titled "YourStudentID-DBG-WSXX/XX.pdf."
