Explore the campus and city digitally

TU Chemnitz has a total of four campuses spread across the city. In addition, the city of Chemnitz is developing more and more in recent years and is the European Capital of Culture 2025. Above all those who cannot be on site for a variety of reasons have the opportunity to get to know the city, university and people digitally.

The project creates digital opportunities to discover the TU Chemnitz campuses and the city digitally. We are currently working on various offers. So far, we have been able to create a digital scavenger hunt around campus and through the city with the help of the German company Actionbound. Soon a 360° video of Campus Reichenhainer Straße will be published.

Digital Scavenger Hunt

With the helo of the German company Actionbound GmbH and their app, we can give all interested students the opportunity to digitally discover the city and the campuses. In the different scavenger hunts, important institutions and contact persons are presented, but also hints for student life aways from the university are given. Interested students can decide for themselves whether they want to participate in the scavenger hunt digitally from home or walk the route with the app.

Campus Reichenhainer Straße

The campus Reichenhainer STraße is the main campus of TU Chemnitz. On this campus you will find many faculties and important facilities.

Campus Straße der Nationen

The campus Straße der Nationen is also an important campus. This campus is mainly the site of the administration, but there are also other faculties.
