Hybrid Study Programmes

Hybrid International Master Degree Program

To have the chance to study in a hybrid setting at any point in the degree programme. Three international English-language Master's programmes have been working on this at Chemnitz University of Technology since 2020. Master Advanced Manufacturing

At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, work is being done on these aspects in particular through the project in the Master Advanced Manufacturing degree programme, so that hybrid learning is possible at all times:

  • Provision of local internship resources in the home country   
  • Intensive practical learning experiences in block courses, the so-called semester schools   
  • Digital interaction possibilities with internship experiments    Media didactic design

Master Embedded Systems

At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, work is being done on these aspects in particular through the project in the Master Advanced Manufacturing degree programme, so that hybrid learning is possible at all times:

Master Web Engineering

  • Start of studies in the summer and winter semesters through digitised basic modules.   
  • Digital forum for project work between university and industry   
  • Simulation of an IT start-up in the digital space   
  • Media didactic design
