Stone Bridge Secondary School in Dhangadhi, Nepal


Since 2012, the Chair of English Literature at Chemnitz University of Technology holds a memorandum of understanding with “Stone Bridge Secondary School”, a private school in the small town of Dhangadhi in far western Nepal. The Stone Bridge Secondary School provides accommodation, board and a secure environment. However, travel expenses (flight to Nepal) have to be covered by each student individually. An application with the International Office (IUZ), Oliver Sachs, for a PROMOS scholarship/stipend for travel expenses, is highly recommended. 	Students from Chemnitz are invited to apply for internships as English teachers at Stone Bridge with Prof. Dr. Cecile Sandten . The internship is not restricted to students of TESOL but open to all students in the department. The internship will be approved by the Department upon the intern's return.
