POST-TUC – E-Mail information for former TUC members

This address information ensures that former students and employees of Chemnitz University of Technology can still be reached at the former e-mail addresses of TUC.

• The sender of an e-mail may use a secure procedure on a website to retrieve the new e-mail address of a former TUC member.
• E-mails to the former TUC e-mail address won't be accepted, stored or forwarded.

Technical details

After leaving Chemnitz University of Technology, TUC e-mail addresses become invalid, i.e. e-mails sent to them are rejected as undeliverable – the sender usually receives an error e-mail. For POST-TUC users, a web address is included in this error e-mail (example), which the sender can use to retrieve the new e-mail address (e.g. from a private provider or the new employer).

Before the e-mail address is displayed in the web browser, a random sequence of digits is requested, which makes it very difficult to automatically retrieve e-mail addresses.

Register

Register as a student or employee with a valid URZ login in the Alumni Portal of Chemnitz University of Technology and enter your external e-mail address.

Registered POST-TUC users

To change your external e-mail address use the acces link to the Alumni Portal. If you don’t find your access link please request a new one. It will be sent to your registered e-mail adresse (not the new one).
