WS2024/25 "Sustainable innovation development with design thinking and Lego Serious Play" (BS Economics)
Together with students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, we will use Design Thinking (DT) and Lego Serious Play (LSP) to develop a sustainable innovation for a real problem. On a content level, learning objectives are to understand innovation development while observing sustainable principles and, on a methodological level, to apply the DT and LSP methods in interdisciplinary teams with the involvement of social actors (transdisciplinary).

SS 2024 Professional Field Seminar (BFS) on "Sustainable frugal innovation with Design Thinking and Lego Serious Play" (B.S. Wirtschaftswissenschaften)
In this seminar we will use Design Thinking and Lego Serious Play to develop a sustainable frugal innovation for a self-chosen social problem. The learning objectives are on a content level to get to know and understand sustainability (with topics like sustainable dimensions and circular economy) and a sustainable frugal innovation process (with emphasize on frugal innovation criteria). The learning objectives are on a methodological level to get to know and apply the methods of Design Thinking and Lego Serious Play for innovation. There will be approximately six units lasting between 1.5 and 3 hours. The seminar will be held in English.
