Start of a study abroad program

In order to make it easier for you to start your studies, the International Office, IUZ for short, has compiled the most important first steps to starting your studies. If you have any further questions or problems when arriving in your new region, the Student Buddy Program offers competent support. If you have specific questions about your studies, the student representatives [de], FSR for short, will be happy to help you.

Language Courses

In order to find your way around better in your studies or everyday life, a language course to learn German can be an important step. The International University Office offers German courses in cooperation with the Foreign Languages Center.

Student Buddy Program

The Student Buddy Program is an initiative by students for students, organised by the International Office, IUZ for short. International students are placed with TU-experienced students, the so-called buddies. Among other things, they support their charges with questions and problems, give useful tips on finding one's way around campus or help them improve their German skills. The buddy program also organizes many cultural events as well as the orientation week for international students at the start of the semester.
