Stay Abroad
International Office
The first point of contact for a stay abroad is the International Office, IUZ for short. In the introductory video of the IUZ [de] the different possibilities for the realization of a stay abroad are presented. However, they also provide important information to be concerned about before a stay abroad and are available to help with the organization and answer questions.
Erasmus+ Program
The aim of the Erasmus+ program [de] is to support European educational agendas by enabling semesters abroad, to increase the attractiveness of the EU as a study and science location and to contribute to the sustainable development of higher education in third countries.
The TU Chemnitz has more than 200 partner universities throughout Europe within the Erasmus+ program. There are no tuition fees for a semester abroad at these universities and financial support is available. More information can be found on the Erasmus program page of the IUZ.
PROMOS Scholarship
The PROMOS scholarship [de] offers opportunities to finance semesters abroad, internships, language courses and much more all over the world. Either at partner universities or as a "free mover". The goals of the program are to support the university's own internationalization strategy and to increase the mobility of students and doctoral candidates at German universities.
