Layout of ICs and PCBs
The proper placement and routing of components on a chip or PCB is a challenging part of the system design. Many options exist, but they differ in signal speed, bandwidth, noise and susceptibility. The course shows you manual and automated methods for the layout on IC and PCB level. Based on the knowledge from the module "Elements of Integrated Circuits" the students create their own designs and present them as exam.
The course consists of seminar and lab.
The course will be held in English.

Exam
