Research Colloquium in the Summer Semester 2025
Current Research in Motivation, Emotion, and Biopsychology (281533-001)

Content focus: This event presents and discusses current research projects (research projects, diploma, bachelor's, and master's theses) being conducted at the chair. The colloquium thus serves as a forum for interactive idea and thought exchange. In addition, the topics of data collection and data analysis are deepened using selected statistical analysis methods. Another focus is on academic writing. From the third semester onwards, students can gain helpful insights into empirical work in preparation for their final theses. Target audience: Bachelor's and Master's students in Psychology or Sensory and Cognitive Psychology as well as doctoral candidates.

Colloquium organizers: Prof. Dr. Udo Rudolph, Dr. Stefan Uhlig

Sessions: Wed, 09:15 - 10:45 a.m.; Room 4/202 (new: B01.202); dates and topics will be announced via the mailing list

Enrollment: No enrollment required. If you would like to be added to the mailing list for this colloquium, you can do so independently. Simply subscribe to the relevant mailing list. You will receive an email before the first session of the semester with detailed information on the purpose, content, and organizational structure of the research colloquium. Since the colloquium offers you the opportunity to present and discuss the current status of your thesis, please also check the page  Research - Theses/Dissertations.

Important: At the start of every thesis project, you should refresh your "scientific basics". These workshop materials will definitely help. Also note the guidelines for writing theses at our department.
