Application documents
The application process is divided into 2 steps:
1st step:
Register on the IAESTE Exchange Platform and submit the following documents:
- CV
- A list of subjects studied with grades/Transcript of Records (Transcript should be in English and is provided by the Central Examination Office. If the examination office cannot provide it in English, you can translate it yourself and ask the responsible person for your degree program to sign it. In this case, please also submit the original German Transcript of Records)
- Proof of English Proficiency (No high school certificates!) e.g.: IAESTE or DAAD certificate, TOEFL, Cambridge, etc. are accepted
- Confirmation of Enrollment from the university (the latest version - English version can only be collected in person from the Student Service Point)
Unfortunately, incomplete applications cannot be considered.
2nd step:
After being allocated to an internship place, please upload the remaining documents to the IAESTE Exchange Platform:
- Student Nominated Form (will be accessable once allocated to an internship offer)
- The original Offer-Form (O-Form)
- A 'cover letter' addressed to the employer (should be in English, refer to Form-O)
- A list of previous practical training relevant for the internship (Job description, time period and employer name with contact details)
- A clearly readable passport copy.
Remark: For internships in Russia the passport should be valid for at least 18 months from the date of entry - Please add additional documents if specified on the Form-O.
