- Robust AI-based IDS: Developing advanced AI-driven Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) for detecting Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, emphasizing robustness against diverse attack patterns.
- Resilient AI-based IDS: Enhancing the adaptability and resilience of IDS through adversarial machine learning techniques, such as Conditional Tabular Generative Adversarial Networks (CTGAN), and continual learning frameworks to counter evolving cyber threats.
- Privacy-Preserving AI-based IDS: Leveraging Federated Learning (FL) to implement privacy-preserving, decentralized intrusion detection systems capable of handling non-IID and imbalanced data scenarios.
- Efficient and Explainable AI-based IDS: Integrating eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques, including Shapley Additive Explanations (SHAP) and Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations (LIME), to improve the interpretability, transparency, and computational efficiency of AI-based IDS frameworks.
