Search entry in our catalog

As almost everywhere, in most library catalogs there is a simple search (the search bar) and an advanced search. Sometime the latter one is a little bit cumbersome, but it's worth it if you want to make certain restrictions beforehand in order not to get useless information delivered.

Usually you can select one search field in the simple search. For example the field author or keyword – more about that later.

Here you see the entry page of catalog of the Chemnitz University Library catalog. You can now try the search by entering different search terms into the search slot.
