Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog (KVK) - a library meta search engine

Via the KVK (here is the link) you can search in an even larger number of records with a single search query. The meta search engine makes it possible to search in German, Swiss and Austrian union catalogs as well as many international library catalogs simultaneously. At present, several hundred million books, journals and other media are indexed in the KVK (status: February 2016).

Before searching, you choose which online catalogs are to be searched. Your search query is forwarded to the selected catalogs. The result lists of the individual union and online catalogs are displayed one after the other.
