Tip - Ranking

The hits in most resultlists are sorted according to a certain, very complex ranking procedure.

For example, the results that contain more of the terms entered are considered very important.

Furthermore, the number of terms in an indicator field (eg. fields like title or keyword ) is taken into account. If a search term appears in a short title, the result is ranked higher than if appears in long title.

The purpose of the system is to browse and to find results that you may not have searched for exactly, but that are still interesting.
